TO VISITORS OF THE VERMONT STATE HOUSING AUTHORITY

The Vermont State Housing Authority’s offices in Montpelier, Middlebury, St. Albans, and White River Junction remain closed to outside visitors. Our staff is available to meet in person on a limited, by appointment only, status. Please use the numbers listed below to contact us and/or to schedule an appointment.

Access to the main office vestibule is available during regular operating hours. Drop boxes are available for your paperwork or rental payment. Please note that we do not accept cash and rent must be paid by a check or money order. Please be sure your check or money order indicates your name, and the location for which you are paying rent. If you need a receipt, one will be mailed to you. If you prefer to mail your rent, please take a blue envelope for ease in mailing; please do not send cash in the mail.

If you are dropping off any other correspondence (applications, personal documents, etc.), please leave it in the locked drop box in the vestibule. Please make sure your information is clear so it can be directed to the appropriate staff.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding. We will continue to monitor the health and safety of our employees and our patrons. As the situation changes, we will update our policy accordingly.
